They dont stay in place very well but that could be because my daughter has very fine hair and even bobby pins fall out of her hair..... I would definitely recommend getting the head bands as well (if you can get your child to wear them)

I also have the little gerber daisies, which are a little more tasteful. If you want splash, however, go with the big ones. My daughter attends a daycare that is infant thru kindergarten, and apparently everyone was stopping in the nursery to see her big beautiful flower. It was a huge hit. The colors are very pretty and the overall effect is just adorable. You'll want to take a ton of pictures every time your daughter wears them.
